Concert " Voice Of Russia. Listening with heart" September 21 (Sat) | 17.00-vocal cycle "Russian notebook" and piano works by V. Gavrilin 8 songs of the cycle "Russian notebook" written on folk texts and reveal one of the main themes of creativity Gavrilin – the theme of female destiny. Each song is a kind of memory, extremely revealing feelings of the heroine of the cycle. How important this vocal opus became for the composer, his words emphasize: ""Russian notebook"... in it I found myself as a composer with my theme and understood the most important thing for myself: how to write music... And I also realized that you need to write music not about what you saw or heard, but about what is behind what you see or what you hear. Then the music will come, the composition will come." In 1967 Gavrilin was awarded The Glinka State prize for the Russian notebook. The cycle was included in the repertoire of the outstanding singer Zara Dolukhanova. She performed it not only at home, but also on tour in many countries.

The evening of 29 December open Chizhik-Jazz-Quartet: the team of vibraphonist Alexei Chizhik will play jazz arrangements of Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, the Siskin and song of Evgeny Krylatov. The Quartet will be replaced by "Soloists of St. Petersburg". Under Mikhail Gantvarg the team will play Vivaldi, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
